Alzenio "Al" Cortado: Assistant Manager
Al is currently the Assistant Manager and has been with the Decorum family since 2001. His 18 years of retail experience ranges from men's formal wear to home furnishings. Al enjoys helping clients with space planning, color coordinating and searching for the perfect piece to fit ones style and home.
Outside of Decourm, Al volunteers his time and has served on the Board of Directors for the historic Little Theatre of Norfolk in West Ghent. Voted by his colleagues as "Mr. Harmonius," Al is positive, amiable and always eager to help.

Norman, a native of Honduras, moved to Norfolk in 2004 after living in New York city. His artistic talent and design experience have been key in how he conducts his business. Shawn Griffey, Manager | Sales & Design
Shawn has been employed at Decorum Furniture since 1992. After working in the Ghent location for 5 years, he opened and has managed the Hilltop store for the past 13 years – his most rewarding challenge. He always enjoys the ever-changing “mix” of home furnishings at Decorum, and watching for exciting new trends. He has really appreciated working with clients to determine and fulfill their specific needs. An avid lover of all 4-legged creatures, he enjoys spending his spare time with his three dogs, cooking, gardening and renovating his historic home.

A career retail professional, Debbie Pearl enjoys helping people find furnishings that enhance their comfort and homes. After managerial stints with Sears and Loehmann’s, Debbie joined the Decorum team in 1999 and quickly became one of Decorum’s most successful sales representatives. With her Virginia Wesleyan College degree in Liberal Arts Management, Debbie blends product knowledge with people skills and an eye for design to provide personal service to all of her clients.
On a personal note, Debbie is an avid football fan and will gladly check scores any weekend during the season. She enjoys bicycling on the boardwalk, sitting on the beach, and rocking out to Bon Jovi.

Walter was born and raised in Italy and has called Virginia his home for the last 16 years. He has been working at Decorum since 1994. Walter started in the warehouse delivering and assembling furniture and spent the last 12 years as a sales rep at Hilltop store. He has a good eye for design and likes helping clients with their furniture needs/wants. Walter is honest and not afraid to give his opinion, because of that, many of his clients become his friends.
When not working, Walter is a huge soccer Fanatic. He enjoys watching and cheering for his team AC MILAN. Walter also enjoys traveling, meeting new and interesting people and,of course, going back home to Italy to visit his family and friends.
